This painting was done at Sedona Plein Air 2012 in Jerome, AZ at this awesome place called Gold King Mine. The blue truck was a prototype for a Western truck but was never put in to production. This painting however is about the interesting shapes and the morning light streaming into the scene. It won a Merit Award at the event from awards judge Kathryn Stats - favorite painter of mine.
