This is a companion piece to a same sized canvas that I painted at the house next door entitled "Rise." This one is a similar scene only painted at sunset. The view over the Illinois at sunset is towards the east so you have to wait for really good clouds to make a sunset interesting. With the help of Acuweather and a little luck, I was able to get this one started and then finished in the studio.
